CAMPING TERMS

Please read these terms and conditions before making a booking.

Camping

·         All nights booked to be paid for on arrival.

·         There are no refunds on deposits.

·         There are no refunds on fees due to weather conditions.

·         There is a 3-night minimum on all Bank Holidays.

·         No under 18s unless accompanied by an adult or with The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

·         We reserve the right to cancel or terminate a holiday where a guest has failed to disclose all the material facts required.

·         Quiet time is between 11pm and 7am.

 

Group Booking

·         We do not accept stag or hen parties

·         Non declared groups (i.e. booked individually or under different names) may be asked to leave the site with no refund of any monies paid.

·         The person making the booking is responsible for the group, this includes all fees payable.

 

Bookings and Payment

Advance bookings are required as we may not be able to accept turn ups if already full. All outstanding fees must be paid on arrival. We will refund any booking cancelled more than 30 days prior to your arrival date. Any cancellations made after this time will not be refunded. We are not liable for any refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). We strongly recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.

 

Arrival and Departure

Arrival time is between 12 noon and 8pm. We do not have facilities for late check in. Departure is by 11am. Please check in before pitching your tent either at Reception or Number 8 Kiosk.

 

Dogs

Dogs are not permitted on site.

We have a few house rules to ensure everyone enjoys themselves!

·         We are a family site and do not accept large groups without prior agreement.

·         Please pitch 6 metres from your neighbour.

·         Check in is from 12 noon until 8pm. Check out is 11am.

·         In order to provide a peaceful night for all, no noise is permitted between 11pm and 7am. We are a rural site and have no areas where guests can congregate late at night. Persons making excessive noise at any time will be asked to leave, without refund.

·         Any noise complaints must be raised at the time of your stay.

·         Anyone breaking the social distancing rules regarding COVID-19, will be asked to leave the park, without refund.

·         Open fires are not allowed.  Portable BBQs are permitted, but bricks must be used to avoid damage to the pitch.  BBQs must be disposed of correctly. For your own safety, gas bottles and BBQs must not be used in tents.

·         Dogs are not able to come on site (Guide Dogs are permitted)

·         Whilst alcohol is permitted, it may only be consumed on your pitch or in the bar. Please do not walk around with open cans, bottles & glasses. Anyone acting in an unruly or aggressive manner will be asked to leave.

·         Children must be supervised and not cause a nuisance or danger to themselves or others.

·         The destruction of our pitches, trees, shrubs, or wildlife is strictly forbidden.

·         Please do not pitch tents, set up picnics or play ball or other games on the main pitch. There is space on our Lower Training Pitch that guests are welcome to use.

·         While Kendal Rugby Club will do our best to satisfy your requirements, we reserve the right, at our discretion, to withdraw any advertised services and to cancel any bookings made for clients, in which event no liability in respect of such cancellations shall fall on Kendal Rugby Club, save that the we shall refund any monies already paid in respect of bookings so cancelled.

·         Liability is not accepted by Kendal Rugby Club for accidents to clients and their guests, or for the loss or damage to personal property.

·         Please only book and pay for your intended night’s stay, as there will be no refunds due to weather conditions or any reason, other than Kendal Rugby Club cancelling your booking.

·         Any dissatisfaction must be raised with our team during your stay; any complaints made at a later date cannot be taken further.
